Leaving Dubrovnik behind, you’ll sail to the island of Korčula. Also known as Marco Polo Island, Korčula is bursting with olive groves, vineyards, pristine beaches and quaint villages. The town has been dubbed “Little Dubrovnik” thanks to its near identical red roofs and medieval walls, but Korčula packs a unique punch of its own. The magnificent St Mark’s cathedral and Korčula Town Museum are well worth a visit, while the coastline is filled with beach bars and seafood restaurants if you just want to kick back and relax.

Today you’ll join a tour of the island which includes a visit to the house that it is believed Marco Polo was born, in 1524. Located in the skinny tower of the house, this tiny museum has a few interesting things to learn about, however the main appeal is its stunning views. Those who take on the very steep ascent to the Loggia are rewarded with an incredible vista across the rooftops to the sea.

A true “off the beaten path destination”, the island of Vis has spent much of its recent history serving as a Yugoslav military base, cut off from foreign visitors from the 1950s right up until 1989. This isolation has meant the island has been under populated for decades, resulting in a unique sort of paradise with beautiful beaches and rich vegetation of pine trees, olive trees and vineyards. In recent years it has become famed as the filming location for Mamma Mia 2. Explore this intriguing island before heading to Hvar in the afternoon, where on arrival you’ll enjoy a city tour including Fortica Castle. Towering high above the town, the medieval Fortica Castle offers wonderful views looking down over Hvar and the nearby Pakleni Islands.

An island perched within the Adriatic Sea, Hvar is blessed with stunning beaches, historic fortresses and blankets of sweet-smelling lavender fields. If you’d like to explore further, you could take a boat trip to the neighbouring Pakleni Islands, the home of secluded coves and sheltered bays with iridescent turquoise waters. Hvar’s reputation as a party town means that you’re never too far from a lively restaurant or buzzing bar from which to enjoy an afternoon aperitif before setting sail for Mljet.

Mljet is the southernmost and easternmost of the larger Adriatic islands of the Dalmatia region of Croatia. It’s difficult to not be enchanted by the beauty of this sprawling national park which boasts sandy beaches, ancient ruins, caves, wildlife and hiking paths. The lakes are excellent for swimming and snorkeling, with crystal clear water and the picturesque villages of Goveđari and Pomena have plenty of bustling restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat. During your time here you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour with a local guide. In the afternoon you’ll cruise onwards to the beautiful Elaphiti Islands.

Today you’ll leave MS Roko to enjoy a day exploring Dubrovnik. With its marble streets, famed city walls, baroque buildings and iconic red-roofs, it’s impossible to not be inspired by this wonderfully unique city. Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll discover the wonders of Dubrovnik’s Old City Centre, a UNESCO heritage site and one of the most important living historical monuments in this part of Europe.

Boka Bay Cruise

Leaving MS Roko behind you’ll travel towards the Bay of Kotor where you’ll enjoy an illuminating cruise that highlights the treasures of this magical region. Scattered with medieval towns along the coastline like pearls strung on a necklace, the Bay is surrounded by dramatic mountains reflected in the glittering straits. During your cruise you’ll visit the tiny town of Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks, one of two gorgeous islands in the bay of Boka Kotorska, which are situated in the sea across Perast in the Kotor municipality. Your tour ends in Kotor’s old town where you’ll find imposing mountains, shrouded by mist, overlooking near-endless museums, churches and charming squares. From Kotor you’ll travel onwards to the Maestral Resort & Casino for your three-night stay in a Sea View room.

Today you’ll be picked up from your hotel by private coach for a full day tour of Centinje, Lovćen and Njegusi. Located in the fields of Cetinje, at the bottom of the Lovćen mountain, Cetinje, Montenegro’s former capital is a treasure of Montenegrin cultural and historical heritage. During your time here you’ll see the Royal Palace of the last Montenegro King Nikola from dynasty Petrovic and the Cetinje Monastery.

Next, you’ll explore National Park Lovćen, located in rocky region of Dinara Alps. At the top of the mountain, you’ll find the mausoleum of Montenegrin ruler and poet Petar II Petrovic Njegos, before moving on to Negusi, an authentic Montenegrin village. Here you’ll enjoy a local smoked ham and cheese tasting before returning to the Maestral Resort & Casino.

After a holiday full to the brim with exploring, it’s time to kick back and enjoy some rest and relaxation during your final day in Montenegro. Enjoy a 50 minute Mediterranean massage in the sumptuous surroundings of the hotel’s impressive spa.
