Today you’ll venture to Kata Tjuta’s Mars-like Valley of the Winds at sunrise to witness its ubiquitous ochre rocks before exploring the ancient Aboriginal rock art found in the area. Embark on a helicopter flight over Uluru to witness the wondrous red rock from above and learn all about the area at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre.

You will then join an atmospheric Sounds of Silence dinner, where you’ll dine on local delicacies and wine under a star-filled sky. Relax to the gentle sound of a didgeridoo as a ‘star talker’ shares their knowledge of the night sky for a truly enchanting experience.

You’ll then coach to the quintessential Outback town of Alice Springs, stopping for lunch in Curtin Springs on the way. This town may be small, but it has an intriguing heritage including a rich pioneering history, outstanding indigenous art, and diverse local wildlife.

Today you will fly to Darwin for the next part of your Northern Territory adventure. Today you'll embark on a breathtaking tour of Kakadu by air. Day 6

Today you’ll spend the day immersed in the culture of the Tiwi Islands off the coast of Darwin

Today you’ll embark on a day-long tour of the Tiwi Islands, 80km north of Darwin in the Timor Sea. Relax on a high-speed deluxe catamaran as you’re whisked on a 2.5-hour cruise from Darwin to the island town of Wurrumiyanga on Bathurst Island. You’ll then set off on a cultural exploration of the town.

Highlights include taking part in a traditional ceremony and totem dance and visiting the Tiwi Islands art centres. After lunch, you'll be guided through the stunning architecture of the old Catholic Church in the Mission Precinct with time to browse and purchase local art, before returning to the ferry to enjoy your journey back to Cullen Bay.

From wildlife to waterfalls, discover the highlights of Litchfield National Park

Today you’ll embark on a remarkable adventure to experience Litchfield National Park. Witness Florence Falls’ double falls from high above before making your way to take the plunge in the pool at the bottom. Join a guided walk through the scenic bush and monsoon vine forest. Visit another wonderous falls, Tolmer Falls — home to colonies of rare ghost and orange horseshoe bats — for a spectacular photo opportunity; and break for lunch at the Litchfield Cafe. Your afternoon is equally as action-packed, including visits to Wangi Falls and the Magnetic Termite Mounds, before returning to Darwin.
