Led by an experienced local guide, you’ll join a fully escorted walking tour of Victoria Falls. Hiking through lush rainforest and along the ridge of the Falls, you’ll marvel at the increasingly spectacular views of this ‘Greatest curtain of falling water on earth’ as it crashes over the cliffs, plunging 108 metres into whirlpools below. During this thrilling walking tour you’ll observe the tumbling cascades throwing mist so high into the air, this can be spotted several kilometres away. During your Zambezi Queen cruise, itineraries are flexible so you can choose how to pass your time, even if it’s lazing on board this beautiful vessel as it glides along the Chobe River. However, this morning’s enthralling activities are sure to excite. Embark on a water-based safari or take a cultural tour to a local Namibian village, meeting Subiya tribe villagers and enjoying a display of traditional dancing and singing. Or join a bird-watching safari led by a knowledgeable guide, encountering some of the planet’s most diverse birdlife, including the striking carmine bee-eater. Then bid the crew a reluctant but fond farewell and disembark the Zambezi Queen, transferring by tender boat back to Botswana.
