Welcome aboard the PS Murray Princess

With all the character and charm of yesteryear, the PS Murray Princess is the largest inland paddle-wheeler in the southern hemisphere. Built specifically for the Murray River, this enchanting paddle-wheeler offers a true authentic experience and a taste of a bygone era, combined with the grandeur and convenience of modern-day cruising. Accommodating just 120 passengers, the PS Murray Princess evokes a sense of intimacy and offers a unique river boat cruise experience through the captivating landscapes of Australia’s Outback. The wetlands in this area provide essential breeding and feeding habitats for many species of waterbirds, fish, invertebrates and plants, meaning that you'll glimpse the wonderful wildlife in this Outback setting. Following a hearty breakfast, you’ll cruise downriver to beautiful Swan Reach township for a walking tour and visit to the Swan Reach Museum. Further downriver at Sunnydale, then experience a Woolshed Show and visit to the Native Wildlife Shelter, which looks after some of the country’s most interesting animals. Come the evening, relish a quintessential Aussie Barbeque on the banks of the river.
